YORKANA BOROUGH MINUTES
SEPT. 4, 2018
The August 6, 2018 Yorkana borough council meeting was held at the
Borough office with following members present Steve Daugherty, Marv
Henise, Rosalyn McElhenny, Ruthann Palacios, Don Daugherty,
Blade Kline, Mayor Lloyd McElhenny. Absent: Christine Grosh.
Pres. Daugherty opened the meeting at 7:30p.m. with pledge and an
Invocation by Lyn.
Secretary report was submitted: Ruthann made motion to accept , Lyn
Seconded, motion carried.
Treasurer report was reviewed, Blade made motion to accept, marv seconded.
Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS: Marv and Don repaired pipe at Dettinger property.
Tree on Borough property will have it cut down in the fall.
Street lights were fixed, Blade stated the one is still out near his home.
NEW BUSINESS: Letters to be sent to following residents on high grass
Kefauver, Hardy, Larry Klein, and Loschavio properties, will contact Grim
And Rehman on abandoned cars.
Lyn made motion, Ruthann seconded to appoint Steve and Nita to be
Validated persons to sign for direct deposit for the state .
Motion carried,
EYARC appointed Bobbie Brock as acting director.
Mayor will be performing a marriage ceremony at fire hall.
Blade made motion to pay bills, Don seconded. Carried.
Ruthann made motion to adjourn, lyn seconded. Carried.
