Meeting Minutes – April 2022

                                         YORKNA BOROUGH MINUTES

                                                  MAY 2, 2022

The April 4, 2022  borough council meeting was held at the Borough office

With following members present—Steve Daugherty, Chris Grosh, Marv Henise,

Lyn McElhenny, Al Sladek,Ruthann Palacios, and Mayor Skip McElhenny,  absent

Don Daugherty.

Pres. Steve opened the meeting at 7:30 with pledge and invocation by Lyn.

Secretary report was submitted. Ruthann made motion to accept, Lyn seconded,

Motion carried.

Treasurer report was reviewed. Al made motion to accept, Ruthann seconded, motion carried.

Unfinished business—Marv and AL gave update on renovations. Council gave them permission to pursue

Their recommendations.

Marv talked with landfill about sidewalk project.

Chris and Nita collecting sewer inspection notices.

Council approved up to $1000 for new computer.

Gas is turned off and meter removed

Engineer – storm water plan not ready

New business—fire co. and red cross are having an open house on April 23, Borough

Council is invited.

Letters t0 be sent to Karl Frick about abandoned vehicles

Al attended meeting at Hellam TWP. He reported that it would not be beneficial for Borough

Lyn made motion to pay bills, Al seconded. Motion carried.

Ruthann made motion to adjourn, Al seconded. Motion carried
