YORKANA BOROUGH MINUTES

AUGUST 1,2022

The July 11,2022 Yorkana Borough Council meeting was held at Christ U.M. church

With following members present, Steve Daugherty, Marv Henise, Lyn McElhenny, Al

Sadek, Ruthann Palacios, Don Daugherty, Absent : Chris Grosh.

Pres. Daugherty opened the meeting @ 7;30 with pledge, and invocation by Lyn.

Sec. report was submitted. Ruthann made motion to accept, Lyn seconded, motion carried.

Treas. Report was reviewed, Marv made motion to accept, Don seconded, motion carried.

Unfinished business

Chris Kraft, engineer reported. Stormwater model ordinance. Chris will clean up ordinance to suit

Borough, council at Steve’s suggestion that we keep fee at $1000.

MS4 waiver, signatures needed. Application fee is $500.

New ordinance needs to be adopted in Aug. and then be advertised for and adopted in 30 days.

Bldg.. committee report. Door needs to be plummed, fix ramp supports,

Sidewalk Steve will inform Kinsley to proceed.

Sec. to call Keith Flaharty to cleanup Moyer property

Al created letter to send to sewage pumpers, for certification will send each copy of ordinance.

Steve is working with rep from Doceo

No new business

Al made motion to pay bills, Ruthann seconded. Motion carried.

Ruthann made motion to adjourn, Lyn seconded. Motion carried.
