YORKANA BOROUGH MINUTES

OCTOBER 1, 2018

The September 4, 2018 Yorkana Borough Council meeting was held at the Borough

Office building with following members present,: Steve Daugherty, Rosalyn McElhenny,

Chris Grosh, Ruthann Palacios, Blade Kline, Absent Marv Henise and Don Daugherty.

Mayor Lloyd McElhenny was also present.

Pres. Daugherty opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with pledge and invocation by Lyn.

Secretary report was submitted: Ruthann made motion to accept Blade seconded.

Motion carried.

Treasurer report was reviewed: Lyn made motion to accept, Chris seconded, .

No engineer report.

Unfinished business: letters were sent to 4 residents, due to high grass. Kefauver, Klein and

Hardy all took care of property, no response from Lochiavo, Mayor will follow up.

Blade stated there is still one street light out . Don will follow up.

Council will make decision on tree behind borough at October meeting.

NEW BUSINESS: Mayor performed a wedding at fire hall, gave donation to fire co. from couple.

Rosalyn reported on dog incident at 7 main st. her dog was attacked by Tabitha Seigers dog

Lyn reported this to dog enforcement officer.

Sec will contact SEO on Lanius property and venable property

Penn Dot did audit on Road fund.

Trick or Treat was set for Oct. 31 -6-8 P.M.

Lyn made motion to pay bills, Blade seconded, motion carried.

Ruthann made motion to adjourn, Blade seconded, motion carried.
