Meeting Minutes – November 5, 2018
YORKANA BOROUGH MINUTES
The November 5, 2018 Yorkana Borough Council meeting was held at the
Borough office with following members present: Steve Daugherty, Marvin Henise,
Rosalyn McElhenny, Ruthann Palacios, Christine Grosh, Donald Daugherty, Blade Kline
Present: Mayor, Lloyd McElhenny
Secretary report was submitted: Ruthann made motion to accept, Chris seconded.
Motion carried.
Treasurer report was reviewed and corrected, Rosalyn made motion to accept, Marv
Seconded, motion carried,
Unfinished business: Crum property – engineer to send a letter as to progress on storm
Water and set a deadline for completion.
Street lights have been fixed
Waiting for tree to be removed and property cleaned up by landfill.
New business; Rosalyn reported that Phil Smith EMA coordinator will retire at the end
Of 2018, deputy will take over .
Ruthann made motion to appoint SPCA as 2019 animal shelter, Don seconded, carried.
Rosalyn made motion, Blade seconded, to pass resolution at B B&T bank for updated
Signatures on bank accounts, carried.
Bill for Emenheiser mowing will be liened against vacant property
Fall cleanup Nov 7
Proposed Budget for 2019 was prepared, Ruthann made motion to adopt proposed
Budget of $30,000 , Rosalyn seconded, motion carried.
Blade made motion to pay bills, Chris seconded, carried.
Next meeting, Dec. 3
Ruthann made motion to adjourn, Marv seconded. Carried
